MDT develops and produces high-quality KNX technology in Engelskirchen near Cologne in Germany. Every day thousands of products – sensors, actuators, push buttons, control units, etc. – leave our plant, and most of them are available from stock. This is made possible thanks to our flexibly organised production, which quickly caters to demand. More than 100 employees support us at our Engelskirchen site and produce Made in Germany KNX components in various production levels.

We have been exclusively developing and manufacturing KNX products since 2009, and today we are one of the leading manufacturers in Germany. We owe this not least to our smart colleagues, who, with their passion for KNX and the numerous functions that can be implemented with it, have become true KNXperts over the years. We aspire not only to provide our customers with first-class products and services, but also to always deliver tangible added value with each of our products.

Product quality is the top priority for our employees. Each individual product is put through several different quality tests during the production process. By doing this, we ensure that our customers get the best possible result. We are confident of the quality of our KNX products. This is demonstrated by the three-year extended warranty that applies for all MDT products.

The founding idea behind the MDT KNX range emerged on a private building site: “A KNX actuator like this must be able to do more!”. This was followed by laborious development, after which our own first KNX range was launched onto the market. To this day, the core idea of offering the user more functionality runs throughout the entire product range at MDT.

We have put together a selection of products, which when launched contained new functions that had never before been available on the KNX market.

Our production team in Engelskirchen (Germany) has almost 40 years of experience in the development and manufacture of electronics products. All products are produced and tested on state-of-the-art production lines. This guarantees optimum reliability for our customers. We are so convinced of the quality of our products that we give our customers an extended three-year product warranty on all MDT KNX devices.
