Shading and cooling perfectly combined

Before energy is used for cooling, the KNX system can first activate the sun protection. Blinds or external venetian blinds reduce heat gain and ease the workload on the air conditioning system. If shading alone is not sufficient, the air conditioning unit switches on automatically.

Using window contacts, the KNX system detects when windows are open. Cooling can pause automatically while the room is being ventilated. Once the windows are closed, operation resumes automatically, preventing unnecessary energy consumption.
