Roger Karner has over 30 years of leadership experience in the electrical engineering sector: After Schneider Electric, for nine years he worked in D/A/CH and the US as Market Leader at Signify. Moving from a large corporation to a medium-sized company is particularly appealing to him, as he says, "MDT is waiting in the wings to become a leading international brand in the KNX sector. I will work with my team to create the structures needed to do this. I am particularly looking forward to the creative freedom and the short, quick pathways in a medium-sized company."

MDT has been developing and producing KNX products in Engelskirchen, Oberbergischer Kreis, since 2009. The company has established itself as one of the leading German producers in the KNX sector and is constantly growing due to its innovative and attractive product range. In future co-managing director Hans-Joachim Kremer will focus on the development of new products and is looking forward to working with the new CEO.
