The MDT Glass Touch Smart 
      
‘As individual as you are’ is the motto of the Glass Touch Smart / Plus, which impresses with its high-quality design and customisable display. The multifunction push-button with a capacitive, high-resolution 6-inch TFT colour display (1440 x 720 pixels) impresses with its high-quality design made of glass and brushed aluminium. The Glass Touch Smart / Plus can be comprehensively personalised thanks to its customisable design options (background image, design colours). The push-button, which is available in white and black, can be mounted either horizontally or vertically.

The intuitive user interface allows easy control of room functions, with up to 64 functions on individual levels and up to 12 status displays in standby mode. A jump function ensures quick page changes. The room functions of the MDT Glass Touch Smart include switching and dimming lighting, controlling Tunable White, HSV, RGB and RGBW, as well as functions for sun protection and HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning control). The innovative group control allows entire floors or rooms to be controlled with a single press of a button via a long or extra-long press. Scene functions enable easy control of complex operating functions. The Glass Touch Smart / Plus has 4 logic functions for linking functions and statuses.

The integrated room temperature controller and built-in temperature sensor take over the heating/cooling operation of the room and ensure high-quality temperature control. The setpoint, operating mode and HVAC status display can be conveniently adjusted using the corresponding function. A code lock function protects against unauthorised access to sensitive room functions and can be set by the user. The MDT Glass Touch Smart's surrounding white backlighting serves as an orientation light at night.

The Plus version builds on the functions of the Glass Touch Smart and offers a variety of advanced features that make it even more flexible and convenient to use. One of these features is the surrounding RGBW backlighting, which can be individually configured to indicate different operating states, alarms or as an orientation light. This enables important information or status changes in the room to be signalled visually. Another highlight is the integrated loudspeaker, which enables acoustic feedback, e.g. when buttons are pressed or messages are signalled.

The code lock function can be used by up to 4 different users. In addition, the MDT Glass Touch Smart Plus version allows the use of 2 binary inputs for connecting potential-free contacts such as buttons, switches or window contacts. Another input allows the connection of an external temperature sensor, for example to measure the floor temperature. An additional timer for switching time-controlled actions rounds off the profile of the MDT Glass Touch Smart Plus variant.

The MDT Glass Touch Smart, including theft and dismantling protection, is installed in a standard switch box (EU, UK, CH, CN). It operates with an auxiliary voltage of 24 to 30 V DC. A bus coupler is already integrated in the MDT Glass Touch Smart and supports KNX Data Secure.
