The compact gateways are connected directly to the indoor unit and are powered via the KNX bus. Thanks to bidirectional communication, status information, fault messages and operating hours are available within the KNX system. Commissioning is carried out quickly and easily using ETS.

The air conditioning unit integrates seamlessly into the KNX building automation system and can be controlled via KNX push-buttons, room temperature controllers, visualisation systems or automation functions. Operating mode, setpoint temperature, fan speed and additional functions can be incorporated effortlessly into existing KNX concepts. At the same time, control via the manufacturer's own controls remains fully available, meaning that any supplied remote control can also continue to be used.

Particularly when combined with shading systems, window contacts or presence functions, intelligent automation scenarios can be implemented. For example, the air conditioning can automatically switch off when a window is opened, or cooling performance can be optimised in conjunction with shading. This enhances comfort while also supporting energy-efficient building operation.
